Organizational recredentialing can be a time consuming and resource intensive process. andros takes the guesswork out of this process so you can focus on what you do best - providing quality care. Here is what you can expect every 3 years when it comes time to recredential your organizations:
- On the first business day of each month, you will receive an email from andros listing all of the organizations that we have identified are due for recredentialing within the next 6 months. All you need to do is reply to that email and let our team know if any of the listed organizations should not be recredentialed. For example, any facilities that are no longer in-network.
- We will begin the recredentialing process in alignment with the following National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards:
- Confirm that the provider is in good standing with state and federal regulatory bodies.
- We will conduct Primary Source Verification for any state and/or federal checks that may have expired since the Initial credentialing event
- Confirm that the provider has been reviewed and approved by an accrediting body.
- Our team will conduct Outreach through email, phone, and fax to gather any new accreditation documentation since the Initial credentialing event
- Our team will conduct Outreach through email, phone, and fax to gather any new accreditation documentation since the Initial credentialing event
- Confirm an onsite quality assessment has been completed if the provider is not accredited.
- Based on your organization’s requirements, andros will conduct any necessary verifications to verify the organization’s accreditation
- Confirm that the provider is in good standing with state and federal regulatory bodies.
- Once we have received and completed all updated verifications, a final PDF credentialing report will be generated and ready for you to review.
In an effort to make this process as efficient for you as possible, we have streamlined the recredentialing workflow in accordance with NCQA standards. This means that you won’t need to submit a new application for each organization or conduct any manual outreach on your end (unless andros did not complete the initial credentialing, in which case, you will need to upload a data loader and application via your ShareFile account). If you prefer to submit updated information or already have access to documents that may be needed for the recredentialing process, you can submit that information the same way you would for Initial credentialing: either by uploading the documents to your ShareFile account or using andros’ Jotform.
